Default Hand crank tilt dump cart

Just got a cart for free from a friend. Not sure what brand it is or what year. It appears that the tag was removed.

Thoughts???

Did it happen to come with the yellow and white Sears tractor. As soon as I saw the cart I immediately thought it was a sears due to the triangular shaped toungue in stead of the normal straight. I've never seen a hand crank on a dump cart before so maybe this is a top of the line luxury cart.

On front lower panel of the cart, it looks like you can see where the tag was. Measure that spot, and maybe even rivot hole to rivot hole, and compare it to the serial tag on the Sears tractor which should be by the gear shifter.

Here is a link to a pic of a Sears trailer that is prob the same but without the crank.

Good luck

Nice haul!!! Love the sickle mower. I've got two. Getting hard to find. I'd love to get hold of that roti-tiller. Still looking for one. Nice haul!

I like the trailer. Can you crank it up and get some pics of the mechanism? Thought of doing something similar to a trailer I have. Great haul on everything.

I thought that the trailer was cub due to the color similarity to the 120s and up. Yellowish white, anyways could not find any identification.

I will try to get those pics for you 108cubber this weekend, if not first of next.

Im debating if I want to convert the handcrank to a electric crank...??? not sure, but I will refinish it this fall before the big haul.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
