Default Thank goodness.

Thank goodness that nobody was injured in that bad storm that ripped through my area. 90 houses are damaged and more then 30 leveled with a F? tornado that came through Hempfield, PA which is south of Greensburgh, PA.

3 houses down a big pine tree fell on my neighbors house. His house is destroyed and so is one of his trucks.

I was about 30-25 miles south of this confirmed tornado and the damage was tremendous. Winds in my area where close to 100 MPH, with a few funnel clouds that were spotted in my region.

A farmer that was in this tornado lost all his tractors and farm equipment. Some of the farm equipment he still used had been in his family for more then 50 years. His 98 acre farm has been in his family for 89 years. Everything gone in an instance.

Please pray for all these people, including my neighbors.

Tractorkid - It was a crazy evening to be sure. I'm about 7-10 miles away, as the crow flies, and the winds were tremendous, as was the golf ball size hail that fell just before the tornado(s) hit. I have relatives that live in Fort Allen, and thankfully, they and their home are ok. Amazing no-one was seriously injured.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
