Helper spring
I am finally getting my three point hitch assembled and was wondering what a helper spring does and where it goes on the hitch. Can anyone post a picture of how it fits on there tractor?

Here is the spring assist on my 128. It is on the left inside the frame.
You increase spring tension to help raise heavier attachments such as plows, tillers, etc.

Spring assist make's it easier to for you to lift your implements.It is located on te inside of the frame on the left side of tractor if your looking from behind. Can't see to much from out side of tractor ,but a pice of angle an a bolt head. These pic's are of a narrow frame spring assist, wide frames are a little different.

My bad
I'm sorry I forgot to mention my tractor # but it is an 1811 hydro. I have been able to see from many pictures that the spring comes through the frame at the left rear but what does it connect to inside?

O i c !
I see the other thread about helper springs and it clears up a lot. Does the rod come with a helper spring? Many that I have seen on ebay just show the spring and no rod.
