Default Lower 3 point on 128

Is the lower 3 point bracket on a 128 really strong enough to be used with a box scraper. There are just three bolts holding it on and if it tore off there would be some work there to remove the bolt stubs and replace the rear cover.

Those same 3 bolts that hold on the lower 3 point hold well enough to pull a 10 or 12 inch moldboard plow through 10 inch deep soil, so yes they are strong enough to hold up to a box scraper.
Just check them every once in a blue moon to make sure they have not came loose.

Two forum members have them Myron and David Green. I want David's but he's not sharing it. Do a site search and you'll see how sweet they are. They are designed for maxium earth ripping!

If it wasn't so late and I didn't have to get up in 3.5 hrs I'd find the link for ya.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
