Default Manifold needed to put muffler on K241?

What manifold do I need to put a muffler across the front of my CC 100?

I have a muffler from a CC 112 and the bracket to support the other end from the head bolts.

You just need the piece of 90 degree pipe that threads into the block. But i believe the cub 100 had a round muffler that came out the same side of the hood as the carburetor if you want it looking stock but if not your way will work. Heres a picture of what the piece looks like.

The elbow is NLA, but our sponsors located at the top of the page should be able to help you out.

No. 134 is the correct item you are wanting:

It currently has the round spark arrestor. So the current pipe/manifold will work with the muffler across the front of the engine?
That would be great.

Anyone make that switch?
Is it noticably quieter?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
