If I ever get the 1450 to run, I'd like to try this out with the Brinly plow I got at the scrap yard, needs paint yet, but I think it will work.

If I were you I would replace those clevis pins with a rod that goes all the way across...you are going to destroy either your lower 3-point bracket or the sleeve hitch adapter the way you have it now. Notice the angle of the clevis pins...

Those are just bolts in there now, just to hold it up there for fit. I was going to add another longer adaptor plate behind the one on there, and slip the hitch adaptor arms into the space between the two. Will one long rod be just as good?

The steel I just had around. I also happened to have a rod that had a .625" hole in it. Lucky I guess. There are drawings and pics on here, thats what I worked off of.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
