I think the 100 is the best looking Cub. There's just something about those round fenders.

For me, and I hate hydro's, it would be the 149. Came stock with lights, 3pt and hydro lift. I think Ive owned about 8 of them. Only parted 1 out, well it was mostly parted when I got it. I think they are the best all around tractor. Oh and none of them junky ISO mounts in them!

Well my 125 is probably my favorite because it was my first cub. I have beat the snot out of it for 30yrs and it"s just like the energizer bunny. Keeps on ticking. I have always thought the 1x4, 1x5 are some of the best looking narrow frames they made.

Its ahard choice, but of the cubs i have owned, it would have to be a 123 with hydro lift, lights, rear lift, weights and a plow and tiller, much like the setup I have now

I have had a NF, several WF's, and of late some 82 series cubs. I love them all, but I have to say my Diesel SGT is my favorite due to the fact I have plenty of room on it, it will do essentially any task I give it without a problem. I can use Sleeve hitch attachments with the correct rear Cat 0 A-frame and I can use larger Cat O attachments. The diesel sips fuel compared to gas engines. It has a huge amount of torque and is not so large that I cannot work in smaller areas. And most of all, I simply love the smell of diesel in the air when I am working it
. Ok, I might be a bit biased but then aren't we all?

Although I've never been on one I would say my "favorite" would have to be something like a 782/784 w/front aux ports. Or basically any of them with hydraulics all around. But honestly I'd take any of them!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
