1541 PTO start verses PTO run
I was looking at the wiring diagram for the 1541 / 1862. I am trying figure out what the difference is between the PTO run sheet and the PTO start sheet. I have looked at it a few times and I still can't see why they are different. Does the start deliver more voltage or amperage?

When you put the PTO Switch in the Start position, it temporarily applies power to the Reverse Relay coil. Once the coil is energized, the power is fed to the Normal Open (NO) contacts which now close. This keeps the circuit energized and the PTO engaged. If you move your hydro lever into the Reverse position, it kills the power to the Reverse Relay coil. In order to start the PTO, you have to start all over again.
