Default Not for a cub..any ideas

Ok heres the deal aside from my 126 I have a husqvarna that serves all the grass cutting duties. I have designed and built an attachment that beds garden rows for the cub, but being the industrious individual I am I like to make everything I fabricate or buy work on both my machines. Problem with the husky is they don't make a lift for it at all. What I am trying to do is modify this tractor so it has a manual lift that works off the deck lift. Have any of you modified another machine to have a lift? If so do you have pics drawings etc??

I saved a craftsman hitch from the scrap yard the other day. It looks like the whole metal plate, along with the assembly bolts right up to the rear end. A shaft runs from a mount on the tractor.
seeing how all MTD's are the same, would a craftsman part fit a husky? Also picked up those front wheel weights.
I think with a few mods it will, But I am not sure. Just my two cents.

That would most definately work, I believe I could replicate it fairly easily unless of course I could find the set up for sale rather cheap.. In the the meantime I have a piece of angle protruding from the notch on the left to a 1/8" cable to a turnbuckle that attaches to the plate on the attachment. It lifts about 2", mostly due to the give in the cable. I think a trip to the cub junkyard for a few things and I believe I could have it made up in fairly short order..Thanks for the idea and info..

ALERT: To all those who don't know, not all modern LTs are made by MTD. Husqvarna is its own company, and produces its own equipment. Not all Craftsmans are MTD either. Many Craftsmans are made by AYP, which is Husqvarna, not MTD.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
