tiller gear box lower pulley info
Can someone give me the diameter of the tiller gearbox lower pulley, also what is the overall height total of the pulley and the diameter of the shaft hole? I am putting it on a #1 tiller, and tring to cross referance a pully from McMaster Carr.

1979 1650, #1 tiller with one extension, 90 degree box mounted, 3 point. 1961 4 digit bringing back to life. I have the mower and 3 pint for it. The 1650 is the fastest mower in the neighborhood.

Measured with a tape measure and eye so until some one posted up actual I wouldnt buy unless it was cheap lol
Mine has a 5inch diameter and looks like 3/4 inch shaft with a key of some kind. Good luck

Measure the width across the two belt notches in the gearbox plate; the OD of the pulley is slightly less than the distance between the outside edges of each notch since the belt has to go though there. You'll need one with a fairly long hub because it hangs down pretty far below the gearbox. I think a 3/4" shaft uses a 3/16" key, but I can't remember, so hopefully someone will provide that measurement.
