Got up and did some work this morning, got my harrow fixed where it can be lifted with the sleeve hitch and also modified this earthway to go behind my cub. Still need some minor tweaking to be right but looks like its going to work out pretty good. I need to add some weight over the back wheel or either remake the rear wheel out of steel instead of plastic. May make a steel one and cup it like the ones on the cole planters we have behind our big ford.

It fell out just about 30mins prior to the picture when I was harrowing and I didn't notice it till the end of the row when I went to lift. By then it was long gone so that chainsaw wrench got stuck in there as a subitute.

Great idea, maybe try and get a fertilizer hopper attached somehow, that would also help with your weight issue

If you move it a couple feet closer to the tractor and use non-floating lift straps so that you can put down pressure on it, you should have an easier time getting it into the ground.

Any ideas on how to work a fertilizer hopper into the mix I have never really seen how they work on big planters we have an old knocker style that goes on a cultivator but that would be pretty time and labor intensive to miniaturize. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
