Default Replacing a KT17 2 with a KT 19?
Have been looking for a replacement for my blown KT-17 2 in my 682. Someone fairly local has a running KT-19 out of a CC that is reasonable.
Any thoughts on whether this would be a decent swap and what would be involved to change it over?

Cub Cadet never used a KT-19 in anything, so I'm not sure what that guy thinks he has.

YUP, Cub Cadet NEVER used the KT-19.

However, I "think" it is the same footprint as a KT-17 but with a larger bore and stroke. You will have to research & confirm that if you so desire.

The only tractor I know of that has that motor is an Ariens GT 19
