I bought a Jiffy Balling front mount sickle mower a few years back. I am finally gonna mount it up but I am missing the side lift mount bracket thingy.
I have some pictures of them but I was wondering if anyone can give me the dimensions of it to make it easier. County fair is in two weeks and they are featuring IH. Would like to show it. Thanks in advance |

sorry I can't help, but that is definitely awesome. If you're going to be showing it at the fair you may want to rig up some kind of cover for the knives, like a strip of clear tubing sliced down the middle to slide over them. Little hands love to touch things at fairs, I found that out last year!

Got some time tonight and mounted it up on a 70 I picked up last week. I guessed on the bracket and it turned out way better than I thought. Tomorrow is when we can bring things into the fair so I got it done just in time. Im bringing a total of 6 tractors, wanted to get more ready but just no time. I will post pics of all later. Here is some of tonights project.

Awesome sickle bar attachment!
I've got 3 parts sickle bars for a Farmall Cub. Someday, I hope to put them together and make one good one to take to shows.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
