Let the spring/winter hate threads continue....
The seasons can't make up their mind right now. We've had a good foot of snow cover for the past 4+ months and for the past three or four days it's been 50 degrees so some of it has gone away, but the coverage is still pretty significant. This means whatever grassy area is visible is most certainly squishy. I found that out the hard way today: ![]() The weather guessers are calling for 5-10" of more of the white stuff tonight-tomorrow and I've got to try to put it somewhere. This is about all the space I've got left. In an attempt to make more room I discovered that under the 3 inches of mud the ground is still frozen, but it is most definitely slop on top of it. Most of what you see moved just now is hand shoveled. I don't even want to think about how stuck I might get moving it tomorrow. Boy am I going to have some landscaping to do if/when it warms up....

Getting ready for "mud wrestling"!! When do I buy my ticket? Be careful in all of that snow.

Just like when you are driving, go off the road, smack a tree, etc, and the police ask what happened?
State trooper got ahhhhhhh kind of "pissy"when I said "That tree jumped out of the forest and bit my car...."

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
