Default ccc/mtd serial num. list

I have been looking for a serial number list for the models from 1982 and on. Does anyone have the list? I would like the entire list for all models.

I'm not sure. I was lucky enough to have a gentleman send me the lists a couple of years ago.

I highly recommend a book titled 50 years of Cub Cadet by Oscar H Will III. Not only does it showcase each cub from the original through the 21xx series which by the way came out after the 3000 series. It is a wealth of info including 2 Serial # Listings.

Better yet, why not add it to the technical library so everybody has access to it.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
