Default Cub for orange?

I got an old buddy, he is in his 60s, got all kinds of stuff, kinda like Fred Sanford. Great guy , one of my best friends. I let him use my 123 and tiller every yr to till up his garden. It's kind of a pain , as I have a few hydraulic lifts for it but haven't put them on. Last summer I picked up a 1650, with a tiller, much easier with hydraulic lift, and the tiller has extension and is in real nice shape. Tractor runs good and tills good, but body wise, a bit rough and PO hacked it a bit. I paid $300 for it. Anyway, he has a Case 446, with deck, tiller, blower ,and cab and wants to swap me, just because he simply does not like the Case. I'm not a big fan of them, and he knows it. But he offered to swap me , and I can't really say no! Although I don't know much about them , I think. I could unload the Case, and replace the 1650 x2 !!! Any thoughts ?????

Those case tractors bring big money. Especially if they have allot of attachments. Which this one does, I'd do it in a heartbeat

To be honest, those case tractors bring almost as much as a decent super cub or a JD 318. I'd make IP some excuse saying its a family tractor and get it back! Lol

Trade a cub for a Case? He's getting the better deal IMO.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
