Default Snow thrower QA42A

We got some snow today, so I thought I'd try out the thrower.
It seemed to work well, but it didn't sound right.
Long story short, the 30 tooth gear in the right angle gear box has some teeth missing.
I was suprised to find CC online says NLA!!
Where do you fellows obtain them? #475-600-R1
I couldn't come up with anything from our sponsors online

I looked and didnt see the part you need from, the link posted, looks like all they have available at this time is the auger sprocket and the beveled pinion gear for that blower.

If I remember correctly the local dealer quoted me like a 100 bucks for this gear. Mine was a little worn so I was gonna replace it when I rebuilt . Not , it is working fine.

The large Bevel Gear (IH 475 600 R1) is NLA from Cub Cadet.

Here are some options:
(A) Look for a used part
(B) Look for a NOS part
(C) Look for a good used Gear Box Assembly

When looking, since this was a IH part, you should look at Case/IH dealers also.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
