Default Mad wife and 1811 x 2

Last year my dad gave me his 1811 that needed some TLC. Changed all the fluids and greased every fitting I could find. With the help of alot of the post here I got the steering adjusted and everything seems to work just fine.
Now for the mad wife. I've been watching for a parts tractor. The other day I found one on craigs list. Talked the guy way down on the price and he threw in a leaf sweeper to help. When I brought everything home I told the wife I went looking at the sweeper and he threw in the 1811. She said " I was full of *ih*". She'll get over it.
The parts tractor is rough looking, mainly do to a really bad seat. Got it running tonight after fixing the carb, float problem.
I know you guy's like pictures I'll get some when I get the parts tractor cleaned up a little more. Can I still call it a parts tractor if I keep it running? I may have to find a parts tractor for the parts tractor! This is how collecting starts right!
Thanks guys

My wife used to get mad too. Now she doesn't even pay any attention to it, I doubt she knows how many I have.

Ehhh... She's probably going to complain about SOMETHING... Most people do. May as well be tractors!

"Parts tractors" need to be dismantled quickly around me or they become "It just needs a couple of parts" tractors.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
