Putting the 1650 to work
It's not a finished prodject but I finally put my 1650 to work, I have been having some trouble with the dozer blade not lifting properly. I kind of fixed.....it didn't work for long.....the problem and used it to clean up around my farm shop. I was having problems with traction or a lack there of so with a little farmer engineering one problem solved. I added an extension to part of the lift frame and hung a 250 lb rear wheel weight off of the back and traction problem solved. Now it will dig in and push a lot of dirt, I also used it to spread some crushed asphalt where I park my truck other than the lift acting up and needing a tune up it works great now. I will try to add a few pics later. I also plan on a paint job in the near future, it's going to get a red paint job like the other one but instead of a white stripe 1066 it will be a black stripe 1066.

Ya it's a stout machine, I also added a weight to the dozer blade as well

I don't suggest you hang that much weight to the back of the tractor like that. The axle bearings will not take it for long. Fill the rear tires with fluid and add some weights. Good looking machine! What isn't working with the lift? You weren't very specific.....

I stand corrected on the size of the weight it's only a 150 lb. I don't plan on leaving it but for now it works and as far as the lift goes it's the rock shaft in the tunnel there is supposed to be a pin in this part but I am not going to add a hitch, deck, or anything else other than the dozer blade so welding the parts together is what I'm going to redo. I did it already but I was rushing and didn't clean it first, as well as I didn't have the welder hot enuf so it didn't hold for long
