Points wiring

Hey All,
got a KT17II the two wires going to the points are rubbing inside the points cover, any tricks to re route the wire or anything. I have the two hole grommet. It looks like it is rubbing where it drops down from the top connection and goes along the outside of the points and down to the grommet hole, betwen the points body and the cover. I have doubled up the insulation with shrink tubing. it would be better if the wire exited the top of that cover.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
