Welcome to OCC.

With these tractors being as old as they are and possibly having had many previous owners anything is possible, however, I would suspect that with the green stripe on both the hood and the dash it most likely was born a 108 and someone transplanted a 12 hp engine in it OR it is possible that it just has a 12 hp cover over the flywheel. I believe that some of the other guys here enjoy looking up serial numbers and deciphering them as to find out exactly what these tractors started out as, maybe one of them will help you out if you post your tractor serial number.

Your tractor is equipped with a 3 point hitch, an electric lift and also has a sleeve hitch adapter.

It also had tail lights so I'm guessing head light too?

I don't see a creeper handle, but in my opinion you have a very nice looking very nicely equipped Wide Frame, Gear Drive, Cub Cadet.

Congratulations, GREAT FIND!

Nice tractor! Welcome to the forum. Lots of knowledgeable guys here, so if you have any questions, ask away. But I am warning you, this Cub Cadet thing can be addictive.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
