George Jones on a Cub Cadet
I was just watching an old episode of Crook and Chase they had George jones on talking about his (New then book ) I lived to tell it all. They asked about the driving the lawnmower to town rumor and he said it happened in Vidor Texas he had came off the road and had to take a cab back to his house. He was hungover and needing a drink and they had hid the keys to everything,his car his truck his farm tractor. Then he looked out the window and said he saw his old 10hp Cub Cadet sitting there and thought surely they took those keys too?? He said he opened the window crawled out and the keys were in it! So he hopped on and drove to town! I heard the story before , but never knew it was a Cub Cadet! Thought this interesting and wanted to share.

Boy ...now he's a winner! I wouldn't have maced him though. You have to wonder,whats wrong with people sometimes! The guy prob would have gotton away with it have he not got mouthy,pitched the beer can then urinated in front of the officer.

He at one time did a video with another artist ,& the song was " give me one
More last chance " ;& then you saw george jones cruising down the lane , how ever they used a jd for the video because of the name is well known as a tractor & the phrase in the song " you forgot about my old john deere" ! At least we know the truth about his real life tractor & it was a cub!
