We went to pick up the frame I bought for the 1811 yesterday but the skeeters were so bad I asked what they wanted for the whole tractor so we could just load and go. We ended up paying $50 for the whole tractor which I thought was a good deal and we even got a home made sleeve hitch in the deal. The Mag 10 turns freely but is missing the carb and breather. One of the members here got the front wheels and the muffler and heat shields are missing. I wish now I had bought it when I saw it before they started parting it but I didn't want to drive back to town that day to go to the bank

Nice find! Looked really good until I got to the last pic, what happened to that fender?!
![]() Seriously though, great find! I love the 1050's and hope to have another one some day. Probably when I'm old and grey and have a farm with barns to put my stuff in ![]() Edit: Is the transmission good? Those, iirc, are sought after by pullers. I don't see why you couldn't make your money back and then some by parting out the parts tractor ![]()

They use a bobcat with a bucket clamp to move these around the yard
![]() I had a chain and we used that to load it to avoid any more damage when we loaded it. They told me when it came in it was complete minus the deck and had no damage anywhere. We are bagging and tagging the parts as we take them off. I might try to repair the frame on the 1811 and maybe some day this old girl will live again. We don't have any tractors with standard transmissions to play with ![]()

Hello, good deal on the 1050. It's not the trans the pullers want, just the axels and carrier. They sell for about 150$. Mike ps and a great 3 turn steering column

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
