Hydraulic flow of supers?
Does anyone know the average flow rate of the hydraulics on a Cub Cadet, specifically on a SGT? I want to know what size of hydraulic motor I can run with the front ports on my 2072. It would just be intermittent use, like to turn the chute on my blower, run a wire winder, etc. Yes, I'm getting lazy, but a knee injury at the ripe old age of 30
 that kept me from work this whole week has got me to thinking about the future.Thanks, Geoffrey

Suggestion:
Use an electric motor for the blower chute. It's WAAAAAYYYYY cheaper, and easier to install. Also, I don't know what all you are wanting to do with an orbital motor, but remember, these only have 600-900PSI max, so it isn't going to do much...... And not fast at that low of GPM.

I already have some small hydraulic motors. The rest is just a right angle bracket, a sprocket on the hyd. motor, hoses, chain and adding a sprocket to the chute in a way that won't destroy the original parts. I also have my own machine shop to do the work in.
Yes, before anyone else gets ideas, it would normally be pretty expensive if you had to buy new hydraulic motors.

Not sure what blower/ thrower your using, but I can send you a pic of how I mounted the hyd motor on my qa42a. It works great and is easy to do. All you need is a #40 sprocket and to fab a bracket. I can't post pic until I get home tomorrow though if it helps. My only problem is I got rid of the 1650 and bought a 2072. Now I have to figure out how to mount the qa42a on a super

Best pic I have. I drilled to holes for the front side and used a longer stud through the mounting hole for the guard over the shaft and sprocket. No problems at all, and it got a LOT of use last winter. I added a flow control to one hose to slow it down, but it would have been ok without it. Turns pretty slow when it's really cold until the fluid warms up. I dig it.
