Default New Implements/ Attachments

Well after seeing a 149 with a loader it got me wondering if there are any companies out there making new implements that will work for older cubs. For example is there someone that makes a new tiller attachment? How about a new Loader setup.

I'm sure there's got to be some place where they still make some of these things.

I found a website that has CAD loader plans, they say that you can just take them to a welding shop and have it made. http://www.loaderplans.com/

I just checked the Kwick-way site and they no longer handle loaders for your tractor. I've done two loader conversion and mountings in the last year and from what I've seen if you can find a used loader that has room for your tractor the conversions are pretty straight forward. I would much rather do a loader than a tiller as you are considering.
Good luck,
Chris

Well I wont have to do a tiller conversion now so I am starting to think about building the loader. In the next few weeks I'll be stuck working night shift, from 9pm to 5am, I'll be looking for something to do during the days when I can't sleep.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
