Evening,
I have been trying to track down a belt for my 1872 super with the 60" deck - no luck. The part # appears to be HA-14439 which replaced the 754-3052 part number. The CC parts site shows it as a 21/32-114. The CC part is about 55 smackers, can I get this cheaper anywhere? I see Dayco makes a 21/32"-114 belt, but I think I would have to order it as well. Also, would I assume the outside circumference of this baby is 114"?? Thanks! |

I bought a Dayco BP111, I hope it's the right one. I did find a kevlar version at that site; if the cheap one fits, I'll order the Kevlar version. I assume they will last longer due to the high tenacity of the Kevlar material.
THANK YOU (and sorry for posting in the wrong thread.) |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
