Default Let's see your work shop

mines a heavy built 12x16 shed with a 2nd story to keep the household junk out of my work space. i try to do most of my cub work at home and this is plenty of space when kept clean, i just pull out the runner when i need to work. the last pic is of my son touching something he was told not to about 5 times, im sure most of you know how that goes.

That looks like a great place to store and get something done. The cut corners on the work bench was a good idea. The boy, yes, boys will do that and it's a fantastic trait to have. Better to see him out in the workshop getting interested.. Great picture. Thanks for sharing.

Can we just lie about our 1/2 finished shops and how great they're going to be when done instead?

Looking good guys!

They are never done. I still need to do the trim around the doors, more lighting, some sort of a paint booth, wire the fans etc. Well we all know the drill.

Great shops, guy; I love seeing how different people use the space they have to make a work spce. I expect to get some good ideas from this thread

Here's my humble shop; this pic is a bit old, I've moved a few things around, but it's a pretty fair representation of how things are. Behind the camera, I've got a 6x4 (I think that's the size) horse mat on the floor that I pull the machine I'm working on onto. It helps to contain any fluids that may drip or leak, it's easier on the knees when bending down, and makes those pesky dropped nuts and bolts not make it so far before they stop. I've also got an oil cabinet that I keep old oil, old jugs, and fresh fluids in. It's not my dream shop, but it's gotten a lot of work done and I'm sure a lot more will pass through its doors before I move on to something else

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
