Anybody go to the National Threshers Association Reunion in Wauseon Oh. yesterday?
Sure had a lot of red tractors there and multiple vendors with cub parts of all kinds. They pretty much had anything that you needed. Stopped by Maple Hunters booth and talked to a nice lady about decals. It looked like a Red power roundup. Usually Green is prominent there, but not this time! It runs through Sunday |

I'm still here. We are currently boating in the Fulton county fairgrounds. Not sure how much rain they had. Several campers are surrounded by water. They can shut off the spigot any time.
Last count on IH products in the feature section was over 400 pieces. This the biggest state show for Ohio Chapter 6 and the National Threshers Association. I had my 149 with Viking Landscaper, 100 with Cannon Earthcavator and 70 with a carry-all.

I Was talking to the fellow with the 782 diesels parked near there and the nice spirit of 76. Think I spotted 4 maybe 5 of them, hardly ever see any, much less that many @ the same show! I have been there when it gets muddy in the infield, and it ain't pretty! I can only imagine how bad the parking lot is! Was gonna come back today but not with this rain. Mason Mi was very bad a few years ago swamping some campers. Keep the life preservers handy, posta rain all night! ![]() |

I got up at 6 AM to make the 3 hr trip from my house to the grounds. The weather didn't look good, but the radar showed clear skies in Wauseon and it was moving out, so I was hopeful. We got there about 10. Solid rain the whole time. No one around but still paid my $5 to get in. Turned from soup to slop to lake Wauseon. It was nice looking at stuff up close without anyone saying anything to us. I was impressed with the red turnout- sort of like a mini- red power roundup. The rain was good for one thing- made even the nastiest red tractors look good. I saw Ksmith from the little tractor co driving around but I guess he packed up and left before I could get in touch with him.
Merk I removed the ponding water from "Uncle Dick" 's seat a couple of times, and from the one next to it that is (your wife's?) That 70 sure does look good in person. I avoided going on sunday because of last year- all we did was watch people load up. This year all we did was see it rain. The food vendors and the flea market was not even open. Not much you can do about the rain but it sure was rediculous. It seems like all it's done this year is rain. I heard the weather was better on friday but I had to work yesterday.

Thanks for the comments on Uncle Dick and trying to keep seats dry. There were roughly 400 pieces of IH product at the show.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
