Glad it was nice there Tim! Now, I know you have a nice warm place to work on those cubs.... you don't need it to get warm.
![]() I'm stuck up north working.... snow everywhere, cold.... it did get up into the 40's over the weekend, so that was nice. Also, I was within an hour of my brother, so I spent Sat evening and Sunday with him. I guess it was a pretty good weekend. |

I'm here..... LOL.
Yeah, I'm on the north side of Chicago working. That's why I haven't been on much. Working, then not much time in the evenings. I'm staying with a friend, so by the time I get a turn on the PC I'm tired, LOL. I hate snow.... would be OK if I had a cub and blower to play with!

You're probably about 30 miles from me now. I live in Spring Grove. GF works in Gurnee, right next to Waukegan.

We're all right here close! My friend only lives about 10 min from the shop and his place is in North Chicago. We went to Gurnee on Saturday. My bro lives down in Naperville. That was not a fun drive for this country boy! LOL! I've been to lots of the "big cities". Indy, St. Louis, Memphis, Nashville, Atlanta, D.C., Louisville, Orlando...... I hate Chicago.

Chrysler has a training center in Naperville. I run 59 straight down basically....its a PITA, 48 miles and takes almost 2 hours. Only have to do that trip 2-3 times a year thankfully.
Gurnee's a nice town, really busy though. I used to work in Libertyville which is pretty close over there too. Nice town too. Lots of $ out that way. How long are you out here?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
