Well for the past couple of months I've been hunting around for a plowday to go to. I found one in Michigan, and I received several generous offers that I would have taken(Big thanks to Kevin Leach and Ryan Pepper) but my current financial situation will not allow me to fly over this year. So I decided I'm gonna host my own plowday! It's just going to be a family event, about 30 people, and only my 4 tractors. 2 plows ( on the 1650 and 128) a tiller, (149) and the 782 will pull a wagon to haul people around. I'll have a BBQ going, and it will be just a couple hour event on a Sunday afternoon, and I think it's going to be a blast. I'm going to do a write up in the Western Producer (an agricultural newspaper that covers almost all of western Canada) I may get more people and tractors for next year, and may turn this into an annual event!

Young E-
Pictures are great but you need video for plowdays. And if it was an uncle instead of an aunt you'd probably get more pics of the girls. Good luck and I hope you have a great experience. |

There won't be any girls there. And if they are there, they will be in the house, missing out on all the fun. I dont think i can do video... Our Internet can hardly do pictures. But I'll try!

I'm a long way from Rockey mountain house... I'm 2 miles in from the sask/ab border... Do you not have a trailer or something to haul your tractor on?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
