Yes they made the #1,2,3 and 4, they also made a big one for carrying the cub cadets on.

As others have said they only built 4 lawn "carts". However, they also made several types of equipment trailers.

I have not been on since 05/11/11. Sold my 2072 that year and bought a Cub Cadet Z-Force S54. I have regrets. Anyways, neighbors are mowing. Selling everything. I was surprised to see the lawn cart. Shocked when she said $10. Paid and hustled it right out of there before the husband knew what happened- just in case. I believe it is a #1. I'll try to link some pictures from my phone.

You got a hitch on that ZTR? If not, better go buy another old Cub to pull it with!

There is a hitch. Never used it though. Have a 4-wheeler to pull stuff.

Some more pictures. No holes in the metal. Looks original tires. Dent in the front and rear edges but otherwise quite healthy for the vintage, I think.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
