Talking Bitten

Hello fellow addicts. I have been bitten by the cub bug. I find myself on this forum a lot just feeding the habit.

What's your wife going to say when the yard is full of Cub Cadets and you find yourself putting up a new pole barn to house them in? And then another pole barn to keep the motor coach and 30" enclosed trailer in that you bought so that you can go to weekend tractor shows, plow days and other such events?

Welcome to the asylum.

Probably the same thing your wife says when you hide brinly planters in the attic!

Welcome Matt!

As YS said, welcome to the assylum. "you can check out any time you like, but you can never leave!"

Someone please stop me. I just picked up a 582 parts machine for a potential loader project. I call the local mower shop to see if they had a wheel and maybe body panels for it and he tells me no nothing for a 582 but we have a complete 125 for $100. Lol it never ends. Looks like a pole barn is coming soon.

HaHaHa, sorry Mark, I will refrain from mentioning it again. It's just that storing implements in the attic of the house makes me laugh. it's like there should be a 12 step program for that type of addiction. Don't worry you won't be alone. Matt (and others) will be there with you!

Congrats on the 582 Matt! Are you going to get the 125 too? We need pics! You can post an add in the wanted section for parts you need or check with the sponsors at the top of the page.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
