Default Find of the day

I picked this up this morning for fifty bucks. No clanking sounds,compression on both cylinders, no big holes anywhere, and complete carb to starter. Came out of a 2000 series Cub showing 675 hours. I got the drive shaft except for the drive flange on the trans. I have to go back with a bigger hammer and longer bar to get that. Now I need to find the thread on adapting the drive shaft to older tractors.

For now it is going under the bench. I have a freshly built M18 to go in the 1862 but I might get the pieces I need to bolt this one in the 1862 at a later time. Plus you never know what might come along needing an engine. I have enough spare frames and parts to build a franken tractor of some sort,lol.

So it has small holes?

Don't bother with the adapter to the trans for the 2000 series. It's a tapered thing that doesn't fit anything but the Hydro Gear pump in the 2 & 3000 tractors. If you need one I have a few.

Worked on the Command a little today. After figuring the wiring out I hooked it to my run stand hit the button and she fired right up,sort of. The right cylinder(left sitting in seat) is dead. After checking it over I found no spark on that side. It has a pretty big oil leak behind the flywheel also. For now she goes under the bench until I have more time to check it out but I am pretty happy so far.
