NF front blade wont hit the ground
I put the front blade on the 105 this morning, and am wondering if I have the wrong lift rod. The blade sits 1/2" off the ground with the lift lever all of the way forward. What do you think:

Id go buy some steel rod and make a new one, if you do you should put a 1" board under the front tires and set the plow on the ground to get the length.

You have the wrong lift arm bracket on the blade.should looka lika dis one.the rod is 32 1/2 or so

Remove that lift stop. Those are for the mower deck usually. I removed mine on my 71, and the blade touched the ground fine!
 edit: That lift bracket on the blade is for another Cub Cadet dozer blade. Its unusual to only have one hole in the lift lever bracket as well.

My bet is on the lift stop, as I suggested. The slotted lift bracket on the blade frame is a sub frame float capability. I cant say for sure that slotted bracket is totally wrong.

Thanks for all of the replies. Its hard to see in the pictures, but I turned the lift stop all of the way around, so it is not contacting. I actually took it off for a test as well.
Jeff, my lift handle is way far forward compared to yours, and is still lifted Darkminion, thanks for that info. I'm new, and had another question. Why do they call you Lew? I have seen this all over the forums  Would anyone happen to know if these brackets are still available? If not I'll either post up on wanted, or weld up an adapter.
