Default Latest IH

1956 International S-120
Bought it from the original owner with all the original paperwork.
It doesn't run and will take some good engine work, brake work to get going, but it should be a nice project.
It's very solid and was well cared for.
It hauled milk containers on a small dairy farm down in LA back in the day.

That's really cool. Just going to make it road worthy and keep the original, well earned patina?

Keep it original, they are only that way once.
The value on survivors is growing.
That is a time piece, don't destroy that.
Money can build any restro rod, No money in the world can build an original, the paperwork just makes it sweeter.

Yep, it's gonna get a bath and some good wax and that's it!
After that, I will tackle the mechanicals of it.
Thanks for the comments

Default resto

I'd vote for a resto-mod. Leave the old paint and save all the old parts.

Exactly what I was thinking, too, when I saw it. Just need a bed frame and some old fashioned bed springs in the back. The fender skirts really make the look of that truck!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
