Drive shaft broke
Well, was mowing down crabgrass today for the lastime this year. I was almost done and the 1200 just stopped moving. I was hoping it was just a spiral pin, but upon closer inspection.... Wrong! Broke the drive shaft and it had cracked the three pin driver where it bolts to the drive cup. Least I have some time to work on it. Glad I don't need it right away! Here's a picture.

Yeah too much hp! I'll go with that! Lol grass wasn't very tall. From the looks of the shaft it just broke. Couldn't see any signs it was cracked where it broke. One things for sure, there's not much meat on there. It broke where the front spiral pin goes through. Surprised more of them don't break!
