Hi guys: I am thinking about building a rear carryall on the back of my cub cadet 122 but I will be building to mount to a three point hitch. I will be using it to carry bags of soil, yard tools, and possible a generator. Any one built one?
Thanks Thad |

Thad: You might want to consider weight on the front also, don't ask me how I know.............
![]() I also should have mounted it closer to the tractor, it was a Tractor Supply $25.00 Swisher special for the front of a 4 wheeler. |

We had a member advertise a peco leaf vac for sale in the Trading Post section a couple of weeks ago. That is already a a carry all for the rear end. The weight is hung on the rear axle. Seems like it was priced at $100. Might be good for design, if not interested in shipping it.

I have JRCO scoop tote. It works well as a carry all but also allows you to dump it if you need to. If i didn't have mine i'd build one like Cub123 did. As jumper mentioned keep it as close to the rear axles as possible; it's pretty easy to get the front end light - i'm guessing my scoop tote weighs more than Cub123's carryall which doesn't do me any favors in the light front end dept!
Whatever you do decide please do post some pics; we all love pics! |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
