Picked up a WH tractor with a johnson model 10 loader on it with intentions to move the loader to one of my 149's.
It is low on fluid and want to make sure I can use Hy-Tran to top it off. Thanks for the help! Randy

What is low on fluid, the loader, the WH or the 149?

Since I don't know exactly what has been used in it, should I drain the old and put all new? First loader and want to make sure I use the right stuff. Randy

![]() If I was you, I drain the system, repair the leak , install a inline filter (If you don't already have one) and fill back the system with standard or synthetic hydraulic fluid (Budget wise)

All good advice, one thing I might add is TSC sells a 505 fluid. it is pretty thick and gives problems in cooler temps so I would stick with a lighter weight fluid.
good luck! |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
