Does anyone have a picture or explanation of where the rear lift mounts on a 122? I just took a walk back to my shed to check it out and I am quite puzzled. Am I missing a bracket? Thanks again. Jeff

(continued from page 2)....
and so you can hopefully find some assistance with this picture that is available in the Technical Section in the library of the forum. http://www.onlycubcadets.net/forum/showthread.php?t=4 Both of these parts that are pictured are needed for the moldboard plow and disc harrow. Cub Cadet 123

And you should probably keep an eye out for a spring assist set-up also.

Oh I'm seeing that you have the hydraulic lift option as well so no spring assist needed

![]() The extra washers next to the lift bar are not used. This was a failed attempt to use both the IH spring assist ( left side ) and the Brinly spring assist ( right side ) at the same time. There isn't enough room on a 125 ( hydro ) for the Brinly spring assist. You CAN use both on a 122 ( gear drive ) and the bracket underneath that the lift bar attaches to

Thanks everyone. Yes, CC123, I have all those parts. The lift assembly is for a NF. And the picture from Jeff tells me I have to remove a plate before I can install the lift parts. I will take a look again and take some pictures as well.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
