Default Lost spark???
I know this is not a Cub Cadet, but have found good help here before:

Working on a Kohler engine on a piece of machinery and do not have spark to motor.

12 V going into coil 12 V coming out of Coyle but no spark at plug?
What am I not seeing?

Could cool be bad?

Just checked ohms across the + and - terminal on coiland reads 3.5.

Going to assume coill is good

And what engine are you working on? Also not trying to be rude but I suggest that you use spell checker.

Put your volt meter/test light on the points side of the coil and spin the engine. You should see intermittent voltage or a flashing test light.

If you have neither, you likely have a dirty set of points or point not breaking the circuit.

Fellas,

Filed the points and that worked...
Oddly enough,
I had this engine running in December and put new points in it so I did not think they were the culprit...
