Default Local Walmart Selling Ethanol-Free Gasoline!!

I think people are getting tired of burning corn in their cars,,,

A local Walmart added a gas station to the outer edge of the parking lot.
The Walmart has been there over a decade,, but, the fuel station has been open only a month,,

My SIL noticed the place is selling both 10% and ethanol-free gasoline.
The reason my SIL noticed the ethanol-free gas is that he has the

He puts ethanol-free gas in that tractor because the tractor is only used to pull the yard cart.
So, the tractor sets for long periods,,,
Mowing is done with a diesel.

The ethanol-free is only about $0.30 more than 10% ethanol gas price.
He did not notice the octane of the ethanol-free gas,,,
it might not be the 93 octane I put in the chain saw,,,

The 10% gas was priced lower than any local gas stations,,
that might be "attention-getter" pricing?
I had a 1993 Honda Accord that would get 15% better gas mileage when ethanol-free gas was used exclusively.
It has been a while since we have had low cost no-ethanol fuel available.
I wonder if our new Honda will give better mileage?? Hmmmmmm,,,,,,,

Anyone else notice Walmart selling ethanol-free gas,,,, YET!!??

Our Wally doesn't have a gas station. I seriously doubt that they will put one in considering the amount of gas stations we have in the area. I only have one station selling non e gas and that's only 89 octane so that's what goes in my small engines and my Honda MC.

I think I'm going to start running 100 low lead in all my equipment that doesn't get much run time, I can get my cans filled at the local airport.

Must be time for another Ethanol Hater Meeting.

The only ones that are getting tired of burning corn are the ones who have poor fuel storage habits. Todays fuel has a short self life and different components that makes up the gas will separate with the heaviest component settling to the bottom on the fuel tank. All small engines should have a fuel shut off close to the fuel tank. I turn the fuel off and run the carb out of fuel.

My 2012 Chevy 2500HD can run E85. The best way I found to compare E85 and E10 was cost per mile to run each fuel. For several months I did record the what it cost per mile to run each fuel. The cost to run E85 and E10 were within a $.01 to $.02 of each other (depending on heavy my right foot was). E10 did get more distance and E85 was cheaper to buy (up to $.60 a gallon cheaper). I need to have E85 $.35 a gallon cheaper to make up the difference I loose in fuel mileage.

Walmart is good at taking advantage of their customers. I doubt they will sell enough non ethanol fuel to keep a fresh supply in their bulk tank. 6-8 months from now the end user will have the same problems they had running E10.

I love it!!! Trump America!! Do what you want to! That's been a long time coming! Have a good day all. I think it's cool we have choices and don't have to walk 10 miles for a drink of water. At least most of us don't.

The president has nothing to do with it..... he can't "make" companies sell non-blended gasoline.

Jonathan,,,,,Hello, knock, knock, knock. I was referring to the "do what you want" attitude of Sam, not the gasoline.

Sam had that attitude before Trump was elected. Coincidentally, so did I.... so, again.... president has nothing to do with it. Calm down.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
