Default Cub Cadet 104 Stock Exhaust
I have a 104 that I picked up recently. That last owner installed a makeshift black iron pipe exhaust stack that looks horrible. I would like to return it to a stock exhaust and put the original muffler and exhaust tube back on. Can anyone show me how the original setup looks? From what I'm seeing from the parts suppliers it looks like the exhaust tube is a 90 degree elbow but I can't see how that would work with the stock muffler. BTW this is my first Cub so pardon my lack of knowledge on this subject.

There is about 1/4"there.
not much wiggle room at all between that and the s/g bracket
Same issue on my 126 last year

There are also a few pictures in my 125 thread here at OCC. Tim has you covered pretty good!

finsruskw, I think that's how the aftermarket muffler tips turned out to be. The original Nelson made are obviously not! Nothing wrong, and your 104 looks nice too, I'll be looking for it in the CC Magazine!
