Default Searching Threads with 3 Characters XT1 XT2 XT3

Has anyone tried to search the forum using a 3 character seach such as XT1 or XT2 XT3 etc and found out it won't pull up any results? Maybe I'm doing something wrong, not sure. However if I type in a 4 character search such as a 1650, 1250 etc, all kinds of stuff pops up. This makes it very difficult for me because I'm an XT3 owner and I can't find anything on it, yet I know posts exists.

It is the way the forum software was written.
There are a whole lot more owners of 100's thru 982 with the same search problem.

There is very, very little info on here on the XT series tractors. That's the biggest reason you aren't finding anything.

It’s a limitation of the forum search function. Fortunately google is a much better search engine without the limitations. Type the words below into google and it will search for xt3 within the onlycubcadets.net site. Try it.

site:onlycubcadets.net xt3

uh no..................
Getting no results when using a three digit search is the only reason nothing comes up. It is purely a software limitation.

Do a search on "127" and then come back and tell us again that nothing shows up because there is very, very little info on here on the 127.

Great. Even if it is a function error, there still isn't jack crap on here about the XT tractors. Not compared to all the others. Not much info to be had.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
