Default 128 gearshift

I finally got the rear oil seal on the motor fixed on the 128 after a couple of months of sitting. Now she won't want to go in gear try to put it in gear and it just want to grind the gears.

If it's been sitting check to see it the clutch disc is stuck to the plates.

Not good, Cubs don't like that!!LOL
A thin blade screw driver will fix that disc problem in a jiffy.

Put it in first gear, start it in that gear, then climb a hill while pressing the clutch down. That might work, did on my 100.

Either/both sides of the clutch disc.
With the clutch depressed and locked down.
the disc should rotate freely with the engine running.

Could have a throw out bearing problem as well, it, the bearing, should also turn freely w/the clutch dis-engaged, to cover all the bases, throw broken teaser spring, ratty flex joints, wallered out couplers and broken spirol pins into the mix as well.
If it were on my table, complete dis-assembly, cleaning, driveline inspection w/necessary repairs would be in order, that just what I do.

Driveshaft repairs can become quite ex$pensive if carried to the nth degree but you will wind up with a trouble free Cub that will reward you with many years of trouble free service

I know where it is just don't know what should be separated and not don't want to go banging on things and make it worst

Well, then it should be pretty obvious what needs to be unstuck. There are two steel plates and a fiber disk. The fiber disk should be free floating when the clutch is depressed. Lock the clutch down and figure out what plate the disk is stuck to and separate it. I had one stuck the other day just from sitting over the winter. I locked the clutch down and rocked the tractor. Broke free on it's own. Even if you have to pry it apart, it's not hard. But if it's really stuck, you could damage the disk. Just how it goes.
