Default snowthrower ID

So I went on a journey to pick up a moped and it was a total bust. I was driving past this place and saw this snowthrower for sale on the side of the road and stopped to check it out. The guy was real nice and said he used it on his cub cadet. The cub he showed me was a newer (80's) quiet line series cub (same as my 782 but yellow and white) with smaller engine. It was a 12?? series. I am not real sure of the model but it was basicly the same tractor as mine. He said "$50", and I said "sold". I hope this fits my tractor and if not I guess I'm out $50? I measured the belt it came with and it is 5/8". It is also missing the shoot rod but that should be pretty simple to fab up. Any help on identifying this thrower would be great. There is no plate that I could find with a company name on it. Every thing works well on it so I'm hoping it will work with my 782.

That is a Haban H42 or H48 depending on how wide 42" or 48".

Oh, and it a 42". Thanks again. I almost can't wait for snow to try it out. I just got a small linear actuator (atv plow) to hook up to my sleeve hitch so I can mount a blade for the rear and not have it interfear with the front thrower.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
