2086?
Anyone familiar with the 2086? There's a couple nearby for sale with 60" decks I'd be interested in, but the engine concerns me. What's the good and bad on these? There's also a clean 2082 set up the same way but shows 1400 hours and that makes me nervous.
At least for the time being this would only be a mowing tractor. Thanks

Pretty much just the plastic cam gear on the early FD620 Kawasaki engines. A lot of the Deere guys have done the steel gear upgrade and kits are available on Ebay and other places. I believe the gear fails around 700-1000 hours. I would use that as a negotiating tool if the upgrade has not been done. Other than that it is just a Cyclops super.
