Default Help identifying a snow blower implement

Hello folks, can't seem to figure out what model of snowblower this gent has on his 149.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WqYVuLz9lzE&t=496s

He runs it at the 8:00 minute mark.

Is that a QA36 or a QA42?

If you had a choice for deep snow (1-2ft), which of the two is likely to get the job done better on a 149?

Thanks!

Well it is a snow thrower not a snow blower.
and it is painted yeller not the factory white.
Also I would say from looking at the video it is a 36"
Sorry I couldn't watch long as it caused me nausea.
And 2' of snow, is going to take going slower and/or narrower cuts if it is wet.
a 4 paddle is better than 2 paddles in my opinion but you didn't ask.

Here's my 125 with a QA-42 handling the snow quite well.

NOTICE!!!!
You will need a QA-42A ( or a QA-36A ) to fit a Wide Frame ( they also fit a NF )

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
