Cub Cadet GT-2186 PTO Belt

I have a 2003 gt2186 with230 hours like new condition. I have had it since new. I have the Factory installed pto belt. The problem it sometimes jumps off the bottom pulley when I first engage the pto. All bearings and pulleys are good. I have replaced the two bottom pulleys two years ago. I can install a old belt and it will stay on the pulley fine. The factory MTD is the second one that I have purchased. It seems like the belt is not exactly the same as old cub cadet belts were. If I idle the engine then sometimes it won’t jump off. I am sure that you have seen this problem before. Thanks for any help that you can give me.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
