To me, Cortland is at the start of western New York or the west end of central New York. Well, anyway, again, welcome aboard.

Well Hello Neighbor! I'm just south of you in Dryden.
If you're rebuilding a old Cub I wanted to let you know of the 2 local sources I've found-
Bullpen Antiques- He's a great guy and had attachments and decks that I rebuilt for my 2 machines. You can call him up and see if he has what you need. His ebay store is also good and packages get here quick if you need something small and don't want to drive all the way over to Canajoharie
https://www.facebook.com/p/Bullpen-A...0063681742489/

Clay VanNostrand (Waterloo NY) on facebook- lists a lot of decks, whole machines and will part out machines is you need spare parts

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
