Default Tire spoons.....

I picked up a set of tire spoons at the last auction I attended,so I figger I give them a go...This took me about 1 1/2 hrs I removed 6 tires that were in bad shape. The small rims I painted the inside, but I still have to do the outside after I pick up a new set of tires for them. Here it comes...After all that I was tired.

So, when people say, they do it the old fashioned way, by using spoons, They don't mean kitchen spoons, What other kinds of spoons do they have.

Got any pics, Because I've been pictureing a soup spoon.

Thanks
Cody

That spoon looks like the ones I use to change Semi truck and trailer tires with. I have some smaller ones, I will try to get a picture of.

I don't know about the others but these are the two I use. One is just a flat spoon and one has a bend/groove in the spoon. I just found these on ebay for reference (not mine) so you could see. Mine are old Ken-Tool spoons. I also use a vice grip when putting a tire on, just clamp it to the edge of the rim to hold the tire in place and work around the rim until the tire is on. Hard to explain in words.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
